Braille Displays and Note Takers
Braille displays allow a blind user to read information that is displayed on a computer screen. A screen reader translates computer-screen information onto a Braille display on which text is shown in a tactile dot based script called Braille. A note taker can be used independently of a computer to write and edit text, send or receive e-mails, as well as to surf the internet. All information is translated, either for voice output, or into Braille.
